WhatsApp Group Members to CSV is a Chrome extension developed by Brightnous IT Services that lets users export the member list of a WhatsApp group they belong to, directly from WhatsApp Web, into a CSV file.

Data Collection

When you start an export, the extension reads the group member information (names, phone numbers, and status) that is already visible to you in your own WhatsApp Web session, in order to build the CSV file. This happens entirely within your browser. We do not collect, store, or have any access to this data on our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data or exported contact information with third parties, because no data ever leaves your device. The CSV file is generated and downloaded locally by your browser.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed to read the open WhatsApp Web page and save the generated CSV file to your computer ("activeTab", "scripting", "downloads", and host access to web.whatsapp.com). It does not access your browsing history, location, camera, or microphone, and does not read messages or media from your chats.

Data Deletion

Since no group or contact data is stored by the extension or on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete. Any exported CSV files remain only on your device, and you may delete them at any time like any other downloaded file.
